Stories of short-term inmates, those who depended heavily on the Workhouse and the Master of the House himself, William Aldis, will be told using historical records and newspaper reports. Learn about five individuals who called the workhouse their home at some point in their lives, why people entered the workhouse, a celebrity guest who stayed the night and even a murder that occurred on the grounds.
