Following the Gothic rebuild of the Cathedral from 1240 onwards, you will find out how construction techniques advanced and the building became more complex. Often unseen architectural details of the Cathedral, as well as features such as the Chester Imp and St Werburgh’s Shrine will be pointed out, finished off with a Questions and Answer session with the Cathedral Works Department staff on the craft and skills used to maintain the historic fabric.
