Established in 1997 with some of the only full time Romans in Britain, Roman Tours offer a unique and exciting service throughout the year. Using authentic clothing and equipment, their soldiers brave the climate to bring you an informative, educational and interactive experience suitable for any group or age range.
At Roman Tours, history is lifted from the page, you will see history in a persepective you probably haven't considered before.
This tour is unique in that you will tour the city with a 'real roman' and enjoy a light-hearted journey exploring the Roman heritage of the city. The tour is factual and fun and perfect for families.
Tours last approximately 1.5 hours.
Daily at noon and 3pm (except Sunday at noon only)
