About the event

Notable features of this beautiful church include a carved Norman doorway, medieval arrow sharpening grooves, 17th/18th century furnishings - churchwardens' pew, box pews, three-decker pulpit.

The fine set of six bells includes the oldest one on the Wirral. The bell ringers will be offering visitors the opportunity to go up the church tower and up on to the roof.  (Sensible shoes required).  This provides the opportunity to see the church bells muffled which is unusual.

No booking is necessary. Self-guided tour sheets will be available for adults and children. Visitors welcome to try bell ringing under supervision.

Ramp for wheelchair access. The paths to the church and to the toilet are well made but up a slope. Assistance available if required.

Refreshments available.
