About the event

Learn how Chester’s Guilds were the movers and shakers of Chester: influencing much from speculative domestic building, fashionable transformation of existing buildings, to pub ownership; and taking a role in horseracing, football, and drama. Several members of today’s Freemen and Guilds will be your guides and answer your questions as you walk, to see a selection of buildings and discuss events, which they have been associated with over the last 800 years.

The walk includes steps.

Booking for this free event opens at the end of May.
