About the Event
For one night only, DTAT and the Grosvenor Museum are joining forces to deliver an Open Mic Night with a twist! Grab a drink from the pop-up bar and enjoy a sensational evening of performances, poems, readings, music, and more.
Hosted by DTAT, a Chester-based theatre group, performances will shed light on Chester’s unexplored histories and will be interwoven with readings from the writings of real Cestrians through the ages.
Artists of any description who would like to submit pieces for performance are invited. The only stipulation is that your original act should be related to the vast history of the city. If you would like to book an Open Mic slot, please email poppy.garrett@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk by 16 June 2023.
If you don’t fancy getting up on stage, the ticket cost for audience members is £5.00. The event is not suitable for children.
We hope to see you there!
The event is expected to finish around 21:30.
The lecture theatre in the Grosvenor Museum has raked seating with limited space for wheelchair users at the back of the theatre. Please contact the Visitor Information Centre, 01244 405340 if you wish to reserve a place in this area.
