About the Event

Join us for an afternoon of circle dancing inspired by Threads through Creation — Jacqui Parkinson's spectacular sequence of twelve large-scale textile panels currently on display at Chester Cathedral.

Each dance in this specially created suite relates to one of Jacqui's panels, which together retell the creation story from the book of Genesis in a vibrant combination of silk, hand-dyed materials, metallic leathers, gold leaf and more than eight million stitches. Moving, breath-taking and joyful — this is a wonderful way to experience the artwork from a completely different perspective.
