View a collection of old photographs of Chester city displayed in a loop on the big screen in the Kitchen.
Browse a selection of local interest books in the Kitchen taken from the library’s collection.
Research using newspapers on microfilm, daily from 13:00 – 17:00. During the festival the library is relaunching this service that was available pre covid. Just ask a member of the library team to book an appointment to learn how to access the newspapers on microfilm and be shown how to use the machine.
Also, you can explore your own family tree with an expert in sessions from 10:00 to 12:00 daily from Monday 20 June to Saturday 25 June.
