About the Event
The tour will start in front of Hoole United Reformed Church on Hoole Road. It will take in the sites and the development of the 'Lost Gardens' of Hoole Hall and Hoole House from Georgian and Victorian times, followed by the recently discovered history of the designed parks and open spaces created by Hoole Urban District Council for the people of the emerging Victorian/Edwardian urban township of Hoole. The walk will finish in front of Alexandra Park, Hoole Road, CH2 3ND.
This tour is now fully booked. Only those with tickets should attend.
Tour approximately 2 hours. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
