Lion Salt Works 10th Birthday Celebration

The Lion Salt Works is celebrating its 10th birthday as part of West Cheshire Museums Service.

Drop in and help celebrate 10 years since the completion of Lion Salt Works’ restoration.

There will be free family activities on outside throughout the day, including salt making demonstrations with the Lion Salt Works Trust, outdoor games, salty science experiments, crafts and plenty of Birthday cake!

If you wish to go around the Museum normal admission charges apply.

• Where can we park? 

The Lion Salt Works has available parking.

• Is the venue or planned route fully accessible (without steps, rough ground, steep gradients)? 

The museum is fully accessible with designated disabled parking bays, accessible toilets, lifts to first floor levels and a hearing induction loop. Guide dogs are allowed in the buildings.

• Is this event dog friendly? 

Unfortunately, we are not able to welcome dogs on this event.
