English Heritage are celebrating the 2023 September Heritage Open Days by offering exclusive themed guided tours of Chester Castle.

About the Event
All guided tours are now fully booked. The Castle is open on 16 & 17 September for a Civil War Living History event.
Learn more about the1000 year history of this fascinating site and the people who inhabited the castle . You will get to explore the Agricola Tower, its Medieval Chapel and wall paintings. Tours last approx 1.5 hours and all are welcome. Please be aware the Agricola Tower has a spiral staircase. Dogs welcome on leads.

Entrance to the Castle is via the County Court Car Park. You can park for a charge in the County Court Car Park.
