About the event
The cemetery opened in 1850 and hosts many fascinating graves which reflect Chester's rich and diverse history. With the fee for this walk waived, this is a great opportunity to join Green Badge Tour Guide Paul Woods to learn about the cemetery's history and most notable graves.
The tour will keep to the paths as far as possible, but some graves are away from the path and fairly difficult to access through the undergrowth. A modified tour can be provided if requested in advance. Please email chh@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.

Those with tickets meet at the entrance to the Old Cemetery, opposite Blackwell's stonemasons. There is parking available in River Lane adjacent to the Old Cemetery.
